Catalina Island

If you are visiting Anaheim during the summer months, taking a trip to Catalina Island can be a wonderfully peaceful experience after the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles and the relentless banter of Anaheim's theme parks. Situated about 40 miles / 64 km southwest of Huntington Beach, the island is lush with kelp forests and wilderness country, and together with numerous secluded coves it provides the perfect recipe for tranquility.

Orange County Beaches

Orange County boasts over 40 miles / 64 km of fabulous beaches stretching all the way from Huntington in the north, right the way down to San Clemente Beach in the far southern reaches of Orange County. Not far from Anaheim's Disneyland, Huntington Beach is the focal point and attractions include great surfing, swimming and bathing, as well as free fishing.

Situated to the southeast of Anaheim, not far from Santa Ana, Wild Rivers Waterpark offers endless fun in the water for kids and adults alike. There are around 40 water rides and attractions as well as two giant wave pools, known as Thunder Coven and Hurricane Harbor. All water rides and attractions are included in the one-off admission fee and there are several restaurants for hungry sliders.
