Re. The pride and joy of Santiago de Cuba
My friend, we are just as proud of La Gran Piedra - maybe you know the name 'The Big Rock' more in English? It is great trip. I take any friends from outside to there when they visit my city. It is excellent for walking and people like car drive there because they see mountains.

The pride and joy of Santiago de Cuba
My girlfriend and I enjoyed the San Pedro de la Roca del Morro the most when comparing the attractions we visited in Cuba. It wasn't at all surprising to learn that this castle is a World Heritage Site, as it has been wonderfully preserved by the Cuban government. As you'd expect, there are great views from it.

Excellent guides around an excellent museum
I took my elderly parents on holiday to Cuba and although some things weren't quite to their taste, they thoroughly enjoyed their time in the country. Their favourite attraction in Santiago de Cuba was the Diego Velazquez Museum, which I recommend to all antique lovers.

Compulsory
Anyone that shares my passion for Cuban history must please visit the Revolution Plaza. It is an imposing monument that the locals are so passionate about. I think that it is compulsory regardless of which side of the argument you stand.

Great music and great people
People watching is one of my favourite hobbies and I found a place to pursue my passion in Cesspits Park. Wonderful for watching the Cubans in their everyday lives whether you attend a concert or event in the plaza or merely sit outside on the grass or a bench.
