St. Petersburg Golf Courses and Clubs

Good golf courses in Russia are few and far between, and only a handful are close to St. Petersburg itself and Russia's north-western Federal District.

Most people staying in St. Petersburg and looking to play a round head to the Dunes Golf and Country Club, which is just under 40 km / 25 miles from the city centre itself and within the resort village known as Dunes.

The golf course features many excellent facilities and these include a good driving range, practice green and also a number of cottages providing self-catering accommodation. Although membership is available at the Dunes Golf and Country Club, visitors are always permitted.


This course dates back to the mid-1990s and features nine holes, which can be played quickly for those looking to play a quick round, or at a more leisurely pace. These is also a miniature golf course onsite with 18 holes and highly suitable for all ages. Due to the harsh Russian winters, the golf course at the Dunes is only opened between May and November.
