The Chicken Dance
We have always been curious about Cuba. Of course the weather was perfect and the Cuban food was quite unique. Though it is near the sea, the chicken is the best thing to eat - some a little spicy. The Awakening was one of our favourite spots located on the beach with a local band.

Nice Beaches - Good, Quiet Family Holiday
We took the family through Canada to get there. I have a 6 and 9 year old that had a great time. The beaches were perfect - there were no dangers or concerns other than making sure the food was fresh. The resorts and staff are well-taken care of and friendly. We had a great trip away from the usual hustle and bustle.

Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous!
Absolutely stunning location with brilliant food and plenty of fun things to do if you can drag yourself away from the beaches. We met some people who were planning to skydive though we didn't do it ourselves. We did, however, go snorkeling and kayaking. It was stunning how clear the water was - you could see absolutely every piece of life under the water. It was a brilliant holiday!

Fun Things To Do in the Perfect Location
I had a great time in Cuba exploring the place and meeting the people. Everyone in Varadero was so friendly and it was quiet compared to other Cuban cities. I went sailing my second day there. I booked the trip through my hotel and they took care of all the details. While out on the boat we went snorkeling. My only complaint would be some confusion about what the entire cost included and the boat driver didn't speak English so well, but he was very nice and cool anyway.

Agreed! The beaches were amazing and it was so refreshing to see a place NOT covered in sun loungers and umbrellas. And the food was superb!

Positively Stunning Beaches
All I can say is wow - probably one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been. The water is truly as crystal clear as I imagined and the beaches that sandy white. Truly unspoiled and gorgeous.
